The Journey of
Clement Heck
Clement Heck, a native from a small town outside Wichita, Kansas, is a distinguished explorer, photographer, and writer. While pursuing his marketing degree, he fulfilled a lifelong goal by publishing his book “ The Noise Inside My Head.”
Art Saved My Life
I did this for you. The kid who never quite fit in; the daydreamer, constantly wandering off seeking refuge from the blinding lights only to attract temporary companions. The kid who allowed society to break him just to fit in and feel cared for, staying up until the morning hours desperately trying to fathom what was wrong with him. The kid who fell in love, just a little too young. I was that kid.
As I grew older, I came to understand that legality doesn’t always align with morality, and I’m more than willing to spend a night in jail if it means capturing the perfect photograph. I refused conformity and made it my mission, through art, to help others uncover their purpose—even if it meant risking everything.
No longer was I that kid. I discovered my home among the stars, alongside the dreamers, the misunderstood, the ones whose minds race late into the night. Every second fought to conform is a second stolen from creativity. This feeling will kill you, my friend. You will be eaten, stripped of your individuality until you can no longer create. The second you give up the fight, the anxiety will subside but at a cost, your creativity
